AEVON, the expert in green mobility, is famous worldwide thanks to its strong and multipurpose off road bike trailers. A range of 3 trailers is available: the STD 100 (the big one), the KIT L80 (the foldable one) and the UNO 100 (for the road).

AEVON has decided to expand its brand with an electric bike boasting a special vintage motorbike look. Le Cafe Racer is a custom E-bike with unbelievable performances.

Who is AEVON?

The Aevon brand was created in 2006 by Benoît, a French engineer living in Germany.

As he couldn’t find products suited to his tandem trips, Benoît decided to create his own off road bike trailer. After 2 years of development, virtual and real tests of several prototypes, the Aevon trailer was born between Munich and Salzburg.

Cycloboost, French leader in the field of electric bike kits since 2009, started to work with AEVON as soon as 2010 to improve the trailers and make them compatible with its electric motors.

A great friendship started and Cycloboost became AEVON’s main partner. After a career change, Benoît naturally passed the torch on to Cycloboost who bought the brand in 2013.

Aevon’s bike trip experience, Cycloboost’s electric conversion experience, of design and production of aluminium frames enable us to offer high-performance, efficent and adapted to your needs products.

What is AEVON today?

Since 2023 Aevon is an independent company managed by Jules (Webmaster and former technical supervisor at Cycloboost) supported by Frank (Cycloboost CEO).

AEVON and CYCLOBOOST are involved partners working in close collaboration to offer  high-performance, evolving and fixable products.

Armed with its frame design experience, Aevon decide to expand its brand in 2017 and to design a bike frame as strong as its trailer frames. Cycloboost’s experience has enabled to develop a bike with zero of the flaws usually found on E-bikes of big brands: an open and fixable system.

Fun fact: even before designing the bike, we had the goal of sharing the production of Aluminium tubes. The tubes used on the bike are the same as the tubes used on the trailers. Creativity was born from constraint, here is a beautiful example with Le Cafe Racer !

AEVON puts all its energy into improving its products and keeping the same manufacturing quality along the years.

We have chosen to focus on the quality and customization of our products made in France. That’s what made the success and acknowledgement of the public.

AEVON bike trailers:

All trailers are fitted with the same hitch system on the seat post. This system offers extraordinay flexibility: it’s possible to turn around a tree or make a U-turn on a small road without putting your foot to the ground.

The hitch is extremetly strong, it’s possible to jump, go down stairs, go anywhere without the unpleasant sensation of being of balance and pushed by the rear wheel which is the case with most systems on the market.

To sum up, our brand is composed of 3 trailers:

• STD 100: suspended trailer with aluminium frame (7kg), up to 35kg of load off road and 45kg on the road, 100l capacity, can be motorized up to 1000w.
• KIT L80: suspended trailer with aluminium frame (5,5kg) and foldable (ideal for the trunk of your car of on the plane), up to 25kg of load off road, 35kg on the road, 80l capacity, can be motorized up to 250w.
• UNO 100:  trailer with steel framee (7kg), up to 35kg of load on the road, 100l capacity, can’t be motorized.

The AEVON bike, Le Cafe Racer:

This bike, which takes itself for a vintage motorbike has an original look, an innovative design and the best high-performance electric motors.

With its one size frame Le Cafe Racer can be entirely customized. You can for example choose the performances of the electric system (from 250w to 3500w), the battery life up to 200km and the look you want.

All the wires are hidden inside the frame thanks to maintenance trapdoors designed for this purpose: maintenance is easy and accessible by any cycle mechanic or amateur.

The bike is upgradeable. Even in 10 years you will be able to replace the electric system by the latest generation whether it’s the motor or the battery. The bike will always be at the top of its game.

You can choose everything: the colour and texture of the saddle, the colour of the frame, the type of fork: suspended or rigid, the type of handlebar: low or higher, a light system…

To complete the offer, we also have accessories: mudguard, rack, aluminium case for the battery, battery protection, anodized pedals, blinkers on the handlebar…

Thanks to our last generation CYC motors, the performances of the bike and the pilot can be measured through a Bluetooth app (compatible Android and IOS). It’s possible to know the effort and the pace of the pedalling.

The Bluetooth app supplied with these motors will enable you to adjust entirely and easily all the electronic of the bike. You will increase the battery life and improve your physical condition!
